A vendor is sought to enhance and integrate data collection and modelling platforms that support agricultural databases in Alberta. The main objectives include improving database performance, streamlining reporting processes, and increasing the accuracy and timeliness of statistical benchmarks for agricultural programs.

Key tasks involve conducting a comprehensive technical review and testing of existing Data and Report applications to boost data input and validation processes, as well as the generation of individual producer and benchmark reports. The project also requires the integration of Dairy, Greenhouse Crops, and Beekeeping databases into the primary Microsoft Access system, alongside developing a clear methodology for data integration, modelling, and benchmark reporting.

Additionally, the selected vendor will be responsible for delivering recommendations on transitioning to a web-based platform in the future. The contract for this work will span one year.
