A government authority in Palatine, Illinois seeks a vendor to provide cybersecurity internal and external penetration testing services on an as-needed basis. The scope of services includes comprehensive requirements gathering to define detailed project efforts, followed by an initial scan and issue identification, with a subsequent follow-up scan to validate the resolution of issues.
Services are to encompass online reporting of identified problems, their criticality, and risk levels associated with vulnerabilities. External penetration testing will involve approximately 82 external IPv4 addresses and testing of wifi systems. Sample internal penetration testing will be conducted on around 31 VLANs, involving roughly 4000 IP addresses and 400 workstations. Internal testing will extend to the SCADA network, all server environment machines, including 8 host VMware machines, 53 virtual machines, and 5 video recording servers.
All questions related to the RFP must be submitted by March 13, 2026.
