A small business is sought to provide a web-based, customized machine translation (MT) engine solution specializing in Spanish-English translation. The selected vendor will develop bi-directional translation engines using a combination of existing memoQ translation memory databases, provided bilingual and monolingual texts, as well as additional texts proposed by the vendor.

Comprehensive data cleaning will be required before engine compilation to ensure high-quality results. The solution must include customization tools that allow for further engine improvements based on user feedback and subsequent use. The ability to create sub-domain-specific engines is also required. Furthermore, the vendor will be responsible for testing and verifying the integration of their solution with the memoQ API via a dedicated plug-in.
