DESCRIPTION

The City of Akron is seeking proposals for comprehensive custodial services at the Ed Davis Community Center, located at 730 Perkins Park Drive, Akron, OH 44320. The scope of work includes nightly and weekly cleaning tasks across the 24,000+ sq. ft. facility, including entrances, lobbies, hallways, meeting rooms, offices, multi-purpose rooms, kitchen, gymnasium, restrooms, locker areas, stairwells, and an indoor track. The resulting agreement will cover a three-year period beginning January 1, 2027, and ending December 31, 2029.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform cleaning services
Must provide worker’s compensation certificate
Must provide general liability insurance certificate naming the City as additional insured with $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate limits
Must provide auto liability insurance certificate naming the City as additional insured with $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate limits
Must be current in all required payments of income tax to Akron and filing of income tax documents
Must submit a completed IRS Form W-9
