(1) Vendor needs to provide criminal background check and drug screening software.– Provide a comprehensive and inclusive software solution for background screening and related services for employees.– Able to provide criminal background check and drug screening services, including providing services for complete screening for potential, returning, and current employees.– Batch reporting and automated services for each candidate.– Background check services.– Provide services for a pre–built integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP), or services that provide a robust application programming interface (API) to integrate with ERP, and must provide services.– Education verification.– Employment verification.– Provide a sandbox and test environment for the initial implementation, to facilitate testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting.– Ability to re–trigger a background check should there be any kind of failure that is encountered.– Recruiters and candidates should be able to view their current background check status and receive updates as soon as is possible from the vendor.– Support most secure authentication methods such as security assertion markup language (SAML) 2; single sign–on (SSO); or Open Authentication (OAuth) 2.0.– Secure online portal for candidates and HR department.– System must be fully compatible with all current and latest major versions of web browsers.– Provide electronic record keeping and reporting capabilities that meet higher education and healthcare compliance standards.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than January 7, 2026.(3) A pre–bid meeting will be held on January 6, 2026.
