(1) Vendor needs to provide crime lab services to the government authority located in Olympia, WA. – Crime Lab would be a full renovation of a 154,000–agency building with an anticipated configuration of: administration, agency, property evidence, toxicology, firearms firing range, impaired driving section, materials analysis, firearms and toolmarks, latent prints, agency, forensic biology, training, lobby or meeting or waiting areas, loading dock and building services. – Six forensic laboratories. – Two toxicology laboratories. – Breath test program. – Drug evaluation and classification (DEC) program. – Ignition interlock program. – Would allow approximately 22,500 GSF available for future expansion or other agency uses. – Renovations will trigger full code compliance, including seismic, life safety, envelop and system upgrades.
