The selected vendor will modernize the crash reporting and e-citation system by providing an advanced solution capable of offline functionality, with automated synchronization to the database when network connectivity is restored. The solution must implement logical edit checks across all pertinent data fields to ensure high standards of data fidelity and integrity.
The system should provide an application program interface (API) to facilitate seamless integration between crash and citation modules and the local law enforcement agencies' computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and/or records management systems (RMS). The project includes planning, designing, developing, testing, and executing data conversions prior to production cut-over.
Additional responsibilities involve creating 'how to' public training videos for system functionality and developing data conversion, mapping, and other required programming specifications. The contract is intended to span a one-year period.
Best-fit vendors:
• Proven experience modernizing law enforcement software systems
• Expertise in developing offline-capable, integrated software solutions
• Ability to create user-friendly training resources, including videos
• Strong background in data conversion, mapping, and system integration
• Prior work with public sector or government agencies preferred
