The San Bernardino County Administrative Office is seeking a qualified contractor to plan and execute the annual Employee Appreciation Picnic at Glen Helen Regional Park. The scope includes coordinating event registration, parking, games, activities, tournaments, and providing food and non-alcoholic beverages for approximately 6,000 attendees. The contract term is anticipated to be for a maximum of 5 years, beginning in 2027 and ending in 2031.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least five years of experience in planning and implementation of special events, company picnics, or similar celebratory events
  • Must have experience in planning and organization of activities for large groups
  • Must have the ability to coordinate and supervise the operation of food service for large groups
  • Must be registered with the California Secretary of State and in good standing
  • Must not be debarred, suspended, or proposed for debarment by any federal department or agency
  • Must have no record of unsatisfactory performance with the County in the 24 months preceding the RFP issuance
  • Must provide evidence of ability to insure as stated in the RFP
