A government authority in Monroe, North Carolina, seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive core data center server refresh services. The cluster must utilize separate hardware for storage and computing functions, with all components managed via an Out of Band Management application accessible from a single portal. Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions should be configured with iSCSI on SFP28 network ports and support delta snapshots, ensuring high-performance connectivity and data integrity.

All iSCSI and VM guest network connections are required to utilize SFP28 ports, and these should be teamed across two different network cards for redundancy. If the network port requirement exceeds 30, additional switches must be supplied. The solution must include software that enables Application Aware backups capable of backing up to a cloud solution, supporting robust disaster recovery and business continuity.

Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by March 9, 2026.

Best-fit vendors:

• Experienced data center infrastructure provider

• Expertise in SAN, SFP28 networking, and application-aware backup solutions

• Established record serving government or public sector clients

• Ability to deliver and support hardware and software integration

• Presence or ability to operate in North Carolina
