(1) Vendor needs to provide consultant services for environmental assessment, designated substances to the government authority located in Lethbridge, AB. – Designated substances and hazardous materials, ensuring worker safety and regulatory compliance to pre–assess all hazardous materials and designated substances of concern associated with a building constructed and its former sciences laboratory research use. – Site inspection or visual inspection of accessible areas, including laboratories, storage rooms, central services support spaces electrical, mechanical, janitorial and building envelope. – This preplans site review should help to establish a foundation for work sequencing, scheduling, and area access with the university and ensure minimal disruption to ongoing academic and business operations. – The consultant must provide an overall reasonable schedule that pertains to the stages of work needing to be completed, as well as an overall expected completion date. E.g. Site survey, collection of samples, lab testing, contingency time, and reporting.
