Vendor needs to provide consultant services to the government authority located in Trenton, NJ. – Develop and implement a public outreach and engagement strategy that ensures transparent, accessible, and inclusive participation across all participating jurisdictions. – Support participating jurisdictions in conducting local outreach activities and gathering meaningful public input, including but not limited to online surveys, public notices, and stakeholder meetings. – Document public engagement efforts, including outreach methods, attendance, public comments received, and how community feedback was incorporated into the draft plan. – Submit monthly progress reports summarizing completed work, deliverables produced and anticipated next steps. Submit monthly invoices that clearly reflect hours worked by task, aligned with Schedule of Proposed Fees. – Facilitate regular meetings, (onboarding workshops, mitigation strategy meeting) with each participating jurisdiction, with additional technical assistance available as needed to support completion of jurisdictional annexes. – Review, update, identify, and validate hazard profiles affecting schools and special districts such as physical assets, vulnerable populations, and facilities at risk using GIS and a range of authoritative hazard datasets. – Leverage existing hazard data while ensuring local validation through stakeholder engagement. – Assess potential future risk conditions influenced by land use trends, demographic changes, and environmental factors. – Evaluate each jurisdiction's capability to implement hazard mitigation strategies, including governance structures, policy capacity and frameworks, planning mechanisms, technical capacity and expertise, and financial resources. – Document existing plans, ordinances, mutual aid agreements, policies, and other operational tools that support mitigation implementation. – Identify capability gaps and limitations such as staffing, funding, or legal authority that may hinder mitigation efforts especially within schools and special districts. The contract period will be for one year. All questions must be submitted no later than February 10, 2026.
