A government authority in Calera, Alabama is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for a new traffic signal installation. The project scope includes supplying and installing an 8-phase traffic signal controller with a base mount cabinet and concrete foundation, as well as constructing concrete foundations for the traffic signal poles.

Additional work will involve installing traffic signal heads, power cables (#6, 2 conductor with ground), and applying new yellow thermoplastic dotted striping (5 inches wide). Contractors will also be responsible for striping removal as required to accommodate the new signal system.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 21, 2026. Interested parties must submit any questions regarding the project by January 23, 2026.
