Construction Manager Services

The government authority in Pontiac, Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide construction manager services for a facility improvement and renovation project. The selected firm will support completion of the design documents, competitively bid the work to trade contractors or a general contractor as determined by the city, and oversee construction in accordance with the approved contract documents.

The project includes site-related improvements such as paving, exterior site lighting, perimeter fencing and gate updates, as well as site access, staging, and parking considerations. Interior and operational upgrades will include renovations to the first-level garage, shops, storage, and staff support spaces. Planned improvements also include installation of four owner-selected permanent vehicle hoists, fencing around tools and oil storage, a new floor drain at the wash bay, men's and women's locker rooms with showers, toilets, sinks, and lockers, ventilation improvements for the sign shop, an air compressor, and private offices for the sign shop and electrical shop.

Questions are due by August 7, 2026. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 30, 2026. The anticipated contract term is three years.
