DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Lakewood Ranch, Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to provide construction manager at risk continuing services. The scope of work includes transportation projects such as roadway construction, intersection improvements, sidewalks, storm drainage, signalization, and storm water infrastructure. Vendors will also manage utilities projects, encompassing water main and wastewater force main installations, gravity sewer systems, reclaimed water systems, lift station rehabilitations, and electrical upgrades at treatment plants and lift stations. Water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation projects are also part of the services required.

Additional responsibilities include value engineering, constructability and sustainability reviews, coordinating the review and relocation of county and private utilities, and managing all electronic project records within a centralized, automated project management information system. The selected construction manager will supervise construction to ensure compliance with design documents and permitting regulations, provide temporary facilities as necessary, and administer post-construction closeout, including final completion, start-up, and warranty periods.
