A government authority in Jersey, New Jersey is seeking qualified firms to provide construction management services for a new academic tower. The selected firm will oversee all aspects of construction, including reviewing contractors’ safety programs as stipulated in contract documents.

The responsibilities include contract administration, ongoing monitoring of construction progress relative to project milestones, and assisting the Design Team in evaluating the work of various trades and subcontractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Additionally, the provider must maintain a comprehensive daily log with photographic documentation of significant project events.

Other duties involve assisting with the review and negotiation of contractor change order requests, as well as providing recommendations regarding their validity and scope. The firm will also coordinate the delivery of project close-out records, as-built documents, and owner’s manuals for turnover to the college upon completion.
