DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Chaska, Minnesota is seeking a vendor to provide construction management at risk services. Responsibilities include assisting in the award and execution of construction contract documents, scheduling and leading pre-construction meetings, and coordinating procurement of long lead items. The selected provider must manage required approvals from local and state code and regulatory agencies, establish and maintain the project's financial status reporting system, and coordinate work between contractors and consultants, including office furnishing installation.
Additional duties involve developing, monitoring, and enforcing phased construction schedules; processing partial and final pay requests; reviewing and commenting on shop drawings, change orders, RFIs, and permit coordination. The construction manager will analyze and recommend change orders as needed, prepare project reports and schedules, and implement quality assurance and control plans. Maintaining record documents, managing inspections and punch lists, certifying contractor payments, coordinating construction site safety, providing oversight of the occupancy process, and developing warranty plan services are also required.
