(1) Vendor needs to provide construction management and inspection services to the government authority located in Elmira, CA. – Consultant construction management and inspection services for its wells 18, 19 and 20 project. – The utilities departments project manager and the project design engineer to ensure this project is built to the approved design drawings, specifications, and schedule. – Assist with project planning, scheduling, and construction–related issues. – Attend bi–weekly project meetings. – Act as a primary point of contact for construction–related communications. – Assist with city code compliance issues and coordination with regulatory agencies as required. – Coordinate construction activities with city operations and other stakeholders to minimize operational disruptions. – Establish and maintain a document management and tracking system for all construction records, correspondence, submittals, and change orders. – Monitor the construction schedule and visit the construction site as required to evaluate progress and quality of work. – Designated construction manager. – Monthly project reports including: inspector daily reports, construction photos and videos, testing results, schedule status, change order log, summary of work completed and upcoming work, recommendations to maintain project schedule – Track and file all project–related correspondence and documentation. – Perform, participate in, and coordinate all project inspections. – Track construction progress and proactively recommend solutions to avoid project delays. – Review contractor’s proposed change orders to evaluate merit and recommend approval or rejection with documentation. – Coordinate system shutdowns and impacts with the utilities department. – Inspect construction for adherence to project specifications, drawings, and standard details. – Notify the project manager and construction manager of deviations from the contract documents for evaluation. – Review as–builts for accuracy.
