The government authority in Allentown, Pennsylvania is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive construction inspection and management services. The selected consultant will oversee construction management, inspection, and documentation for projects focused on the deployment of solar-powered school zone beacon flashers in new school zones. These flashers will be strategically installed with speed displays, accompanied by regulatory and warning signage, pavement markings, pedestrian crossing treatments, and associated traffic control devices, all in accordance with approved permit plans.
The scope of work also includes construction administration and daily on-site observation and inspection. The consultant will be responsible for reviewing material quantity measurements, processing contractor payment applications, and assisting in the preparation and coordination of payment estimates, work orders, and extra work. Submission of detailed daily inspection or work reports to the city's project manager is required throughout the project duration.
The contract is expected to last three years. Interested vendors must submit questions by June 22, 2026.
