DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide construction and building materials testing services. The selected vendor will be responsible for offering a comprehensive unit pricing list, including fee schedules for personnel and drill crew hourly rates, equipment daily rates, field testing, test drilling, and various reimbursable expenses, such as mileage, vehicle use, per diem for meals, subcontract expenses, equipment rental, and out-of-town costs.

Required services include construction testing and observation for foundation construction, earth retention systems, tieback and pile load testing, subgrade soil/proof-rolling evaluation, masonry, structural steel/precast concrete fabrication shop, roofing, environmental characterization/evaluation, engineering consultation, expert witness services, laboratory testing, facility condition assessments, and materials evaluations. Geotechnical services such as site evaluation, soil borings, foundation and retaining wall design, specialized embankment design, and pavement design are also required.

Vendors must submit all questions regarding the proposal by May 26, 2026.
