DESCRIPTION
The issuing organization seeks implementation partners to support the establishment, implementation, continuous improvement, and long-term sustainability of the community school model. The services will strengthen statewide infrastructure through coordinated systems, professional learning, strategic partnerships, continuous improvement, shared leadership, and sustainable organizational capacity. The selected provider will also evaluate service effectiveness, including implementation outcomes, organizational capacity, and, where appropriate, outcomes for students, families, and the broader community.
Professional learning services will include designing and delivering learning experiences focused on collaborative leadership, partnership development, family engagement, integrated student supports, continuous improvement, and strategic planning. Activities may include workshops, institutes, communities of practice, coaching cycles, and other adult learning structures.
Technical assistance will support schools, complex areas, and state offices with planning, implementation, strengthening, and sustainability. This may include consultation on promising practices, community needs and asset assessments, implementation plans, partnership strategies, governance structures, and sustainability plans. Specialized support may include employing and supervising an in-person, full-time community school coordinator, facilitating needs and asset assessments, establishing community school leadership teams, and developing, implementing, and continuously improving community school action plans.
