The city council in British Columbia is seeking consulting services to design and facilitate a community safety strategy workshop. Key activities include reviewing and analyzing frameworks from comparable municipalities, guiding council discussions to identify priorities, guiding principles, and desired outcomes, and preparing a document summarizing lessons learned and key considerations related to strategy scope and engagement methods. The consultant will also present analyses of formal community safety strategies from other jurisdictions, highlighting strengths and limitations to help the city council determine their preferred approach.
