Vendor needs to provide community engagement and safety director services. Lead the development and execution of safety, hospitality, and community outreach strategies to enhance public trust and promote safety. Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, residents, law enforcement, and service providers. Maintain proper staffing coverage for all direct report positions, to include actively performing duties of subordinate team members where necessary. Collect, analyze, and report safety and engagement data to guide program improvements and demonstrate impact. Coordinate public campaigns, training, and events that elevate community presence and promote civic engagement. Assist in leadership with the investigation and resolution of constituent complaints. Review and approve all disciplinary actions and terminations recommended by supervisors. Responsible for ordering and inventory management of all supplies and materials needed for the department. Assist human resources and leadership with the development and implementation of employee rewards programs such as employee appreciation, holiday events, etc.
