(1) Vendor needs to provide procure contractual services for two community–based, trusted–messenger liaisons to support local messaging, connections, and strengthen community engagement and relationships– Facilitates communication and serves as a liaison between the agency, parent and provider committees, the community and other stakeholders;– Works closely with the Executive Director and members of the agency leadership staff to support communication, coordination and effective service delivery– Examines programs, administrative procedures and policies and makes recommendations for improvements and appropriate plans of action– Organizes and coordinates community outreach and external relations efforts– Facilitates responsive, accurate, proactive and collaborative communication with the community– Attends and participates in advisory councils and feedback loops and other community functions to maintain visibility and open lines of communication– Ensures the User–Centered System Design work adequately engages and represents providers and parents from across MD– Assists constituents, including parents, providers and community members, with inquiries and concerns– Support with the development of templates and processes to move the initiative forward.– Performs other duties as assigned
