The selected vendor will act as the primary media source for the County, ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of public information. Responsibilities include providing graphic design and layout expertise for major County publications and projects such as brochures, pamphlets, signage, and other materials as directed.

The consultant will develop communication plans and consultative tools in response to emerging issues and will regularly update and publish content for the County's website and social media platforms including Facebook and X. Monthly duties also involve drafting communications reports, media releases, briefings, and position papers for various County stakeholders such as the Reeve, Council, senior management, and department staff.

Additional tasks include monitoring and tracking media coverage, maintaining current and accessible media contact information, arranging the production and review of published materials for both internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating advertising placements for County departments, including weekly newspaper advertisements.
