The selected vendor will provide consulting services to support the development and implementation of a comprehensive communication and community engagement strategy related to zoning initiatives. Responsibilities include developing, curating, and maintaining a standalone zoning website; ensuring zoning-related content is updated on the city website; and making sure all communication platforms are accurate and aligned. Additionally, the consultant will help facilitate inclusive and transparent public meetings, provide strategic communications, develop content, and support reporting requirements on zoning public engagement efforts.

The scope also includes participating in strategy meetings, organizing and facilitating one public outreach meeting per month, and coordinating public event participation such as community tabling. The consultant will be responsible for translating zoning concepts and policy changes into accessible language, developing newsletter content, mailers, social media posts, and more. The contract is for a period of one year, with frequent collaboration with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective stakeholder engagement.
