The State of Iowa is seeking a vendor to design and implement a cancer prevention and screening awareness campaign focused on rural communities. The selected vendor will be responsible for preparing and submitting a comprehensive Campaign Plan that develops and distributes general and cancer-specific awareness messaging. These messages should employ evidence-based content on health and lifestyle factors that can reduce personal risks for developing lung, colorectal, and skin cancers.
The campaign should address key risk factors such as obesity, physical inactivity, poor diet, and alcohol consumption. Messaging is to be disseminated through a variety of collaborative partnerships and diverse media channels to maximize outreach. For lung cancer specifically, the vendor will be tasked with developing targeted outreach materials using both small and traditional media formats, as well as conducting direct outreach to homeowners with instructions regarding registration as approved homeowners. Additionally, the vendor must provide a Campaign Placement Report detailing media purchases and placements. All inquiries regarding this opportunity need to be submitted by December 10, 2025.
