Seeking a vendor to provide and support a collections management software solution for public art collections in Alberta, Canada.
(1) Vendor needs to provide collections management software. – Provides the necessary skills and experience to deliver and support a relational database Collections Management Software (CMS) solution that meets or exceeds the expectations for an industry standard CMS and meets the requirements; – Provides a solution that meets industry standards and best practices; – Provides a solution that supports common collections management workflows, offers enhanced support for conservation and exhibition management, and optimizes collection data management, retrieval and reporting; – Provides a solution that publishes select collection data to the web that is viewable and searchable by the public; – Offers a solution that is scalable with the growth and evolution of the Public Art Collection; – Offers a solution with capabilities to integrate with a solution; – Provides solution enhancements and updates to continually improve useability and stay technologically competitive and relevant as industry standards and best practices evolve; – Provides training and training materials for agency users; – Provides references that demonstrate relevant expertise implementing a CMS for art collections. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 10, 2025. (3) The contract period will be for three years.
