(1) Vendor needs to provide cloud hosted real time passenger information system.– This system will cover digital roadside displays and printed timetable publicity throughout the region. – RTPI Management/Base Software: central real time data management, standards compliant ingest/processing (SIRI, TXC), live monitoring, reporting, and open data services (APIs/SIRI feeds). – Timetable Generation Software: production and management of printed roadside publicity (timetables/case inserts), conforming to layouts and accessibility requirements. – Monitoring & reporting: web based status dashboards for feeds, hardware, and system performance; automated alerts; KPI reporting on availability, connectivity, fault response/repair times, and tracking coverage. – Content & displays: CMS to configure real time and scheduled content, free text disruption messages, operator logos, paging rules, countdown/ “due”, cancelled/delayed messaging, and per display configuration; group/cluster controls; polling/clear down behaviours. – Security & compliance: ISO 27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials (mandatory)/Cyber Essentials Plus (desirable); HTTPS for hosted systems; audit trails and access controls; independent security testing. – Support & maintenance: live system monitoring; Fault Management System for fault logging/closure; proactive/reactive maintenance for hardware (including spares and hot swap units), software updates/upgrades at no additional cost; defined maintenance windows. – Scalability: expansion of operators, feeds (incoming/outgoing), stops/displays, and functionality over the contract term; clear pricing for component growth.
