(1) Vendor needs to provide cloud–hosted ID card and locking system upgrade solution. • ID card system, including comprehensive card management software, card printing equipment, and physical ID cards. The scope encompasses the software platform for card lifecycle management, user database integration, reporting capabilities, high quality card printers with encoding capabilities, and the production of durable, secure ID cards for students, faculty, and staff. ID card reader replacement and physical access control systems are explicitly out of scope for this procurement. • Improve the experience of members of the campus community through the modernization of our ID Card System, addressing card production system requirements, exploring architectural options. • Improve security by implementing non–proprietary and open technology in our ID Card System, supporting mobile credentials, ensuring high–quality card production, and enhancing security measures, to bolster campus safety. • Software hub solution that is compatible with Apple ID and Android, enabling credentials to be stored in the Apple Wallet.
