Alberta is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a cloud-hosted document management system (DMS) tailored for its Legal Services department. The selected solution must offer comprehensive document management capabilities, including full text indexing and search, document visibility controls, bulk scanning to PDF, role-based access and permission management, custom metadata fields, robust OCR, and integrated case management features.

Integration and compatibility with Adobe Acrobat and robust email management using Outlook are required, ensuring seamless handling of email attachments. Collaboration tools such as hyperlinks, bulk download and upload, an e-filing solution, and intuitive navigation must be included. The system should also provide drag-and-drop access for ease of use and support advanced user experience features, such as personalized favorites, autofill and autocomplete, duplicate email identification, and a dashboard for at-a-glance updates.

The vendor will be responsible for delivering a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, full implementation services, data migration, and API documentation. The contract duration is three years.
