A Colorado school district is seeking a qualified vendor to implement a comprehensive cloud-based VoIP phone system utilizing a Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) platform. The solution must be fully cloud-based with a multi-tenant architecture and georedundant data centers, aiming to replace the district’s legacy telephony infrastructure. This system should integrate a suite of voice, safety, and messaging applications tailored for educational environments, supporting seamless communication, high availability, and robust integration with existing campus security and paging systems.
The system must offer an intuitive user interface accessible across ChromeOS, Mac, Windows, and mobile platforms, requiring minimal training for basic operations. Handset devices should feature native, context-sensitive instructions displayed on screen, guiding users through common functions.
