The state of Pennsylvania is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) system. The solution must be vendor-hosted and support the ongoing operation of the state's prescription drug monitoring initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.
Key features of the system should include dynamic metric configuration, a user dashboard with query compliance metrics, and comparative analytics for prescribers based on medical specialty peer groups. The platform must allow selection among different peer groups for benchmarking, as well as displaying a state-approved disclaimer before users conduct queries. Integration with a referential patient matching system for link/delink functionality is required.
Additional requirements include the ability to view a geocoded map of patient records showing locations of the patient's home, physicians, and pharmacies; tracking and displaying other states' PDMP searches initiated by the user; the ability for prescribers to customize the date range for reviewing their prescribing history; and automated password management for users. The system’s zip code database must be updated at least every 15 days.
This initiative aims to enhance state reporting, compliance monitoring, and prescriber analytics within a secure, user-friendly cloud environment.
