(1) Vendor needs to provide cloud–based point of sale system. • Agency seeking information for the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of a Point of Sale (POS) system that will be used to process various types of payments from customers. • POS system must be compliant with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including to PCI–DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). • System must incorporate robust security features, including encryption of sensitive payment data both in transit and at rest. • API Integration: The POS system must provide APIs for seamless integration with existing County Clerk applications built with Microsoft .NET technologies. • Data Synchronization: The system should allow for seamless data synchronization with the existing applications, including payment history, transaction records, user data, etc. • Third–Party Payment Processors: The POS system must support integration with third–party payment processors, such as credit card payment gateways and digital wallet services. • Mobile payments (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay). • Credit and Debit Cards (EMV–compliant). • The POS system should have an intuitive, easy–to–use interface for both clerks and customers. • Online payment interfaces should be mobile–friendly and optimized for different devices (phones, tablets, and desktops).
