Seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based parking access, revenue, and control system with advanced payment, reporting, and security features for California.
(1) Vendor needs to provide cloud–based parking access revenue and control system. • Accurately calculate, collect, track, and report revenues for parking to minimize theft and loss of revenue • Process payment solutions for users, including credit cards, QR code, website, mobile app system, and cash • Provide a dedicated web portal that will allow city staff to access online reports, provide exportable data functionality, and develop an online dashboard showing up to date summaries of collected revenues by category and line–item expenses, and other data and summaries related to the city account. • Have a wider range of convenient electronic payment methods, reducing the amount of cash that is handled, with a preference of fully eliminating a cash payment option • Ability to have common equipment across facilities, leading to a consistent customer experience • Provide an intuitive and user–friendly interface for customers and City personnel. • Provide electronic coupons and/or validations that may be presented by the patron in all lanes, including processing in self–service lanes • Ensure that each customer entering a parking facility is issued a parking ticket • responsible for reconciling each parking ticket issued, whether issued manually or by machine, with each parking ticket collected • Provide flexibility in rate configurations for all parker types, and to vary rates by time of day and day of week • Provide mechanisms to strengthen internal controls such as cybersecurity and minimize theft and loss of revenue.
