Key requirements include advanced protection features such as reputation-based filtering, robust safeguards against identity theft, and the capability to detect and prevent data loss through customizable data loss prevention (DLP) policies. The solution should also offer content analysis tools to detect anomalies and alert against exfiltration attempts, as well as seamless integration with SIEM systems via API. An email analyzer tool for in-depth analysis, inbox protection for quarantining and removing messages prior to user interaction, and thorough identification and blocking mechanisms for various email threats are essential.
