California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive, cloud-based live event ticketing software platform to support the sale, distribution, and management of tickets for both on-campus and off-campus events. The chosen platform must be modern, secure, and scalable, with the goal of enhancing the customer experience and streamlining operational workflows.

Key requirements include support for a variety of event types, venues, and audience categories. The platform must allow for public-facing web-based ticket sales accessible from both desktop and mobile browsers, delivering a mobile-optimized purchasing experience without the need for a dedicated application. Additional features encompass on-site box office and Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions, options for general admission and reserved seating tickets, multiple pricing structures and discounts, as well as specialized pricing for students, staff, seniors, and promotions.

Barcode ticket scanning capability via mobile devices or dedicated hardware is essential, including real-time validation to prevent duplicate entries and offline scanning with post-event synchronization. The system should also provide configurable refund and exchange policies by event or department, along with the ability to process full and partial refunds and handle ticket cancellations or exchanges. Role-based access permissions for administrative tasks and system configuration are required to ensure secure management of ticketing operations.

The contract for this project will be for a three-year period. Prospective vendors will be required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on February 12, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by February 26, 2026.
