The desired solution should offer comprehensive features, including seamless lecture recording, live streaming, and interactive tools such as Q&A, chat, or polling to enhance student engagement.

Vendors are encouraged to present an overview of their lecture capture platform, highlighting primary features, unique advantages, and compatibility with different deployment models—such as cloud-based, on-premises, or hybrid solutions. The system should be capable of centralized management across multiple classrooms and colleges, and support both automated and ad-hoc recording, as well as manual capture. Additional functionality like faculty and support staff editing tools, along with integration with the Canvas LMS—including support for LTI 1.3, API access, single sign-on, automatic linking of recordings to courses, and in-depth analytics dashboards—is required.

Vendors should also describe available analytics at both the instructor and administrator levels and provide insights into their technical support structure, including hours of operation and response protocols. An outline of the pricing model—whether per user, per course, per classroom, or as an enterprise license—is also requested.
