South Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide a fully hosted, cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) featuring advanced artificial intelligence integrations. The platform must offer high availability and scalability, and include standardized course templates to ensure consistency across academic programs. Key requirements include robust tools for accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and universal design for learning (UDL), as well as the ability to create separate areas for academic courses and maintain a rolling data period of three academic years.

The LMS should feature embedded AI functionalities that are fully compliant, and must also support integration of additional third-party AI tools. Seamless, real-time connections to the university’s Student Information System (Ellucian Colleague) and Customer Relationship Management platform (Slate) are required, along with compatibility for integration with third-party learning tools such as YuJa, Turnitin, Respondus Lockdown Browser, and Yellowdig. The solution must also integrate with the institution’s existing Single Sign-On (SSO) for secure access. The anticipated contract term is five years.
