Key features include a public-facing online request portal that integrates with the County website, automated assignment of unique tracking numbers, and tools for tracking deadlines and statutory timelines through automated alerts. The solution should offer robust redaction capabilities for text, metadata, and images, as well as secure document upload, storage, and indexing. Internal dashboards for tracking the lifecycle of requests, collaboration tools, and Microsoft Outlook/Exchange integration are essential.

Additionally, the system should generate searchable, OCR-enabled PDFs for all uploaded, scanned, or converted documents. A comprehensive audit log tracking user actions, date, and time is required to ensure accountability. The preferred deployment is via a cloud-based SaaS platform.
