A Texas-based agency seeks a vendor to provide a cloud-based Fleet Maintenance Management System (FMS). The system is intended to transition from manual work order tracking to an automated, data-driven environment, centralizing management of vehicle maintenance, parts inventory, life cycle processes, and compliance reporting across five bus depots.
Key system requirements include integration via open API or native capabilities to pull data from GPS/telematics and fuel management systems. The FMS must be 100% browser-based, optimized for mobile devices, and support visual tracking of fleet availability, preventive maintenance (PM) compliance, and current breakdowns. Mobile accessibility for checking parts in and out of warehouses is also required. The contract will span one year.
Questions about the RFP are due by March 27, 2026.
Best-fit vendors:
• Experience implementing cloud-based fleet management solutions
• Proven record integrating with GPS and telematics systems
• Expertise in mobile-optimized enterprise platforms
• Ability to support large-scale, multi-site transportation operations
• Familiarity with compliance reporting for fleet services
