Cloud-Based Financial Reporting and Budgeting Software

The requesting organization is seeking vendors to provide a cloud-based software solution encompassing financial reporting, budget reporting, capital budget production, and strategic plan production. The ideal software should facilitate importing financial data from Munis, support journal entries and budget amendments within the system, and allow for global changes to documents involved in the reporting process.

For budget reporting, the solution must enable grouping of imported accounts based on defined characteristics and include a documentation manager for back-up materials, supporting multiple sign-off levels, collaborative editing, and version/conflict tracking. The capital budget production component requires functionality to track the progress of project tasks and expenditures following budget adoption.

The strategic plan production module should provide tools to create strategic plans with goals, objectives, and action plans organized by year, group objectives by focus areas or target groups, and link both budgeted line items and actual general ledger activities to the strategic plan document.
