The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive cloud-based data center management suite software solution. This system will play a vital role in supporting ongoing data center modernization initiatives, focusing on improvements such as higher-density racks, power upgrades, containment systems, and enhanced operational governance.

The selected vendor will be required to assign an implementation project manager and deliver structured project governance. This includes a documented project plan, defined milestones, risk and issue management, and recurring written status reporting. The vendor will be responsible for conducting data validation, system testing, and user acceptance testing, including reconciliation against physical inventories and formal acceptance sign-off. Comprehensive role-based training and knowledge transfer are key components, covering administrator, facilities, and IT operations personnel through hands-on sessions and the provision of runbooks and operational documentation.

The solution must also provide bi-directional integration with IT Service Management (ITSM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) platforms, with features such as automated data synchronization and relationship mapping. Systems integration with power and environmental monitoring systems, UPS and PDU platforms, as well as identity and role-based access management, is required. Post-implementation, the vendor will offer at least thirty days of support, encompassing issue remediation, system tuning, and a review process. The anticipated contract period is three years.
