This vendor-hosted software solution will serve as a standardized framework for the exchange of transfer data and act as an authoritative resource, helping students understand how their completed courses and prior learning can be applied to degree requirements at various institutions.

The CMTS will also support the exploration of transfer opportunities into South Carolina institutions by out-of-state students and equip state institutions with tools to enhance regional and national transfer equivalencies. The system should allow users to import or access transcripts, offer compatibility with various browsers, and integrate with established Student Information System software and versions.
