(1) Vendor needs to provide cloud–based backup and disaster recovery solution. • Agency looking for a disaster and recovery solution capable of replicating and backing up all on–premises vSphere virtual environments • This backup will be utilized for falling back and recovering any virtualized workload to on–premises environment • Provide the city with offsite backups and a cloud–based disaster recovery site if needed. In the event of a disaster, this cloud–based backup snapshot will be utilized to recover all virtual workloads to a vendor managed cloud–based software defined data center • Solution needs to be fully managed where vendor will provide recovery services in the event of major disaster or disruption to a city wide operational network and resource • Cloud should be built–out as an On Demand Environment without Pilot–Lights. • Billing for Cloud Storage Consumption (for Backup Snapshots) would be separated from On–Demand Environment Billing • Minimum of two cloud hypervisor hosts in a redundant cloud geographic regions • Datacenters must be based within the United States of America • Cloud needs to be CJIS compliant • Cloud provider will perform all necessary, virtual networking migration and replicate onprem environment settings (so that virtual machines cloud IP allocations match the IP assignments on on–prem environment • Cloud provider will enable virtual firewall and assist with firewall rules for entry into cloud managed environment.
