A public entity in British Columbia is seeking a vendor to supply a cloud-based asset management software platform. The solution should offer a centralized, organization-wide system for managing all asset classes and serve as the core database for collecting, storing, and maintaining asset information, which is currently kept in GIS systems and Excel spreadsheets. The platform must be hosted within Canada or provide the flexibility to transition to a Canada-based cloud environment in the future.
Key requirements include integration with existing and external systems such as financial management (MAIS) and geographic information (ArcGIS), as well as real-time data integration. The software should support full asset lifecycle management, enabling tracking of asset condition, maintenance, and replacement history. Additional features should include real-time, customizable dashboards and reporting modules, support for desktop and mobile (iOS, Android, Google) interfaces, and comprehensive inventory tracking for all asset classes, including natural assets.
The platform must provide reporting, dashboards, and analytics to facilitate data-driven decision-making, along with tools for risk and level of service assessment. The initial contract for this project will be for a period of one year.
