(1) Vendor needs to provide clinical and non–clinical operations automation service. – Support automation strategy development and early design integration during schematic design and design development. – Integrate automation and robotics into clinical and non–clinical operations to support safety, efficiency, scalability, and long–term operational excellence. – Provide a comprehensive automation network. – Framework that guides high level strategic decisions, identification of future space needs, development of specific plans, and new processes and policies that will guide the physical development of the academic medical campus. • Robotic transportation of materials: – Validate the catalog of materials – Understand the impact of robotic use for materials movement on space, vertical transportation mechanisms, and types of equipment required. – Make choices around balancing robotic investment with human labor needs, in the context of optimizing the future facility for both cost and flexibility. – Make design choices materials flows, associated volumes and times, and associated transport mechanisms. – Develop a quantitative throughput model covering all in–scope material streams, including clean supply, soiled/waste, linen, dietary, pharmacy, SPD ad lab. – Produce a material handling matrix identifying at a minimum: commodity, source/destination, unit of movement, time–of–day window, elevator group, required staging/detent positions and peak–hour volumes. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than February 5, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for one year. (4) Virtual pre–bid meeting will be held on February 2, 2026.
