The selected vendor will be responsible for providing services focused on the prevention of child abuse by organizing and facilitating events centered on child abuse and neglect prevention. The scope includes offering subject matter expertise in areas such as family strengthening, protective factors, resilience, and primary prevention principles.
The provider will be tasked with developing and disseminating educational materials related to protective factors, family strengthening, child development, social-emotional learning, and brain development. Ongoing collaboration with diverse community partners—including universities, faith-based groups, military organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders—will be required to promote child abuse prevention activities throughout Hawaii.
Key responsibilities include scheduling and facilitating monthly planning meetings with staff and partners, preparing agendas, documenting discussions, tracking action items, and implementing an evaluation tool to assess event effectiveness and collect participant feedback.
