Vendor needs to provide cemetery database management and support software. Provide ongoing maintenance, enhancements, data support, and technical guidance for an existing cemetery management software system built on a Microsoft Access database. Ensure the system remains secure, reliable, and aligned with operational needs while enabling future improvements and providing migration planning and technical advice as requested. Responsibilities include data input and data management, troubleshooting and resolving application errors, repairing database corruption, addressing performance issues, and applying fixes to Access forms, reports, queries, macros, and VBA code. Functional enhancements and workflow changes, develop and test updates in a staging environment prior to production deployment, and build or maintain integrations with GIS/mapping, financial systems, or web portals as required. Regular data management tasks will include scheduled backups, integrity checks, recovery testing, data cleansing and deduplication, and assistance with import/export routines. Create and maintain custom reports and export routines to meet operational and reporting needs. Able to confidently manage and operate the existing cemetery database, have a strong knowledge of municipal cemeteries, and be able to use GPS and GIS data to maximize efficiency in data plotting.
