The government authority in Florida is seeking a vendor to provide a cellular distributed antenna system for its facilities. Specifications include plans for each building, identifying the headend point of interface and MDF locations for remote radios. Approximately 250 square feet has been designated for carrier equipment in the headend point of interface room.
The contractor must design, install, commission, and test the system according to manufacturer instructions and recommendations. This project requires installation of rack mount equipment in the Head-End Room as per provided drawings, as well as a GPS antenna to be placed on the roof for optimal signal quality.
The selected contractor will be responsible for a maintenance service contract covering the system for one year, with options to extend up to five years. This maintenance includes preventative service, system monitoring, provision of spares, fault mitigation, equipment repair, and response time obligations.
