An Ontario campus is seeking qualified vendors to upgrade and replace its existing campus parking system. The goal is to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and the overall user experience by deploying modern parking hardware, software, and equipment throughout the campus.
Vendors are expected to provide high-performing, licensed service solutions that include web-based, remotely accessible software compliant with current PCI standards and adaptable to future compliance updates. The proposed system should support a variety of payment methods, including Apple Pay and Google Pay as value-added features, and must offer real-time lot occupancy tracking for both gated and ungated lots. The new system should integrate seamlessly with existing permit and payment systems, provide support for open APIs for platform cross-communication, and function as a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solution.
Additional requirements include a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan, on-site repair support, and gating equipment compatible with multiple parking access revenue control system (PARCS) software. The initial contract term will be five years.
